Portland Women's Social Circle at the Bakehouse!
We live in a beautiful corner of the world, yet so many of us visit the stunning islands right in our backyard. This all-inclusive event is all about changing that! Join us for a day trip to Long Island MAINE. It's a 45-minute ferry ride from downtown Portland. We’ll spend the morning beach combing for sea shells and glass then head to the island's only restaurant, Byers & Sons Bakehouse, to decorate picture frames with our shells, enjoy lunch, and community connection.
St. Patrick's Day Celebration
Corned Beef & Cabbage! Roasted Root Vegetables, soda bread, chocolate stout cupcakes, shamrock cookies, and Guinness on draft! Come down for dinner and have a pint with us!

Come one, come all! Come young & old! Enter our Found Objects Raft Derby! Let’s clean up our beaches & our island!
90% of the materials used to build your vessel must be refuse. Ropes, broken Styrofoam, washed up barrels, driftwood, woods trash, etc.
NO engines – man powered only
$5 entry fee

Starting at the far granite Bakehouse crib, contestants must paddle their raft out and around a Spar piling. First one to return to shore floating wins!
